D. Anaesthesia seat vacant in Trivandrum :

Very
important information! There is a vacancy (1 seat)
at M. D. Anaesthesia in Thiruvananthapuram. Anybody
who wants to transfer to Trivandrum from other colleges
(via Kerala Counselling 2003)has to contact the
D. M. E. before tomorrow evening. Apparently there
has been a vacancy left by a candidate who opted
M. D. Anaesthesia in Trivandrum via the AIPGE counselling.

PGI 2003 Entrance Notification :
(21/03/03)
The
Notification for the Entrance Exam for the PGI 2003
has been issued in it's website. The candidates
may apply in the form downloadable at http://pgimer.nic.in
together with requisite fee by Demand Draft in the
name of Director, PGI. The tentative dates for the
PG entrance examination MD/MS 14.06.2003. That is
not a good news for those who would want to club
this with the AIIMS Entrnace. You can download the

Tamil Nadu PG Medical Entrance 2003 Notification
: (21/03/03)
The
Tamil Nadu PG Entrnace Examination notification
for the 2003 has been issued at the TN Health website.
Application forms can be downloaded and submitted
from the TNHealth.org
website http://www.tnhealth.org .Candidates
from Other States are not eligible to apply. Only
candidates who had studied their Under Graduate
and Post Graduate courses in Tamil Nadu are eligible
to apply. Other candidates have to produce the Nativity
Certificate of Origin of Tamil Nadu in the format
annexed in the application form. Last date for completed
application forms is 04-04-2003 5.00 PM. Date of
exam Saturday, 26-04-2003 and the time of the exam
is 10.00 AM to 1.30 PM.

JIPMER Results : (19/03/03)
The
results for the JIPMER entrance exam has been published
on the website. No one from our batch has qualified.
The exam was conducted on teh 16th of March. The
questions have been compiled by many of our batchmates
who went to write the exam. I'll try to post them

AIIMS Entrance May 2003 Notification :
(19/03/03)
The
AIIMS MD/MS Entrance exam would be conducted on
the 11th of May, 2003. The prospectus/application
forms can be obtained from main S. B. I. Branches
in M. G. Road, Trivandrum and Kottayam till the
24th of March. The last date for receipt of the
completed application form at the Examination Center,
AIIMS is the 28th of March, 5 pm. Further details

MAHE
Entrance 2003 notification : (11/03/03)
The
notification for the year 2003 admissions will be
issued in the leading newspapers by the 24th of March.
The Entrance Examination is scheduled on the Sunday,
the 25th of May, 2003. You can be in touch with us
at www.manipal.edu
for the latest announcements on admission. The application
material is priced at Rs.250 and will be issued only
after the notification. The application material can
be obtained in person from selected branches of Syndicate
Bank and Lord Krishna Bank from 24.03.03. The
enclosed PDF file attachment will provide more
details. To obtain the application material by post/courier,
please send:
- A
crossed demand draft for Rs.250 in the name of
'MAHE' payable at Manipal or Udupi
- A
plain paper request providing details of course
applied, name and complete postal address (including
PIN and Telephone Number), email address, if any.

Sri
Ramachandra Medical College Entrance information
: (09/03/03)
The
Sri
Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute
in Porur, Chennai has called for it's Entrance Examination
which is scheduled on the 11th of March. The application
forms costing Rs. 500/- will be distributed from the
14th of March and will be available till the 31st.
The last date for submission of application forms
is the 16th of April. The Application forms can also
be bought via D. D. of Rs. 575 drawn in favour of
"Registrar, Sri Ramachandra Medical College &
Research Institute (Deemed University), Porur, Chennai
- 116". The exam is expected to be relatively
easy and can be compared to Manipal Entrance Exam.
The College is pretty reputed in Chennai and as you
might recollect, our very own Dona Mary is doing M.
S. OBGYN there for the past one year. The fees are
a bit steep coming to Rs. 3 lakhs/year for three years
course. Another problem is that the A. I. I. M. S.
entrance dates clash with the dates of this entrance.

Entrance Counselling update : (04/03/03)
The
Kerala Entrance Counselling dates have been published.
The counselling which was supposed to be concluded
before the 5th of March will now be starting after
it. It's scheduled to start on the 6th of March with
Lecturers and SC / ST categories. The counselling
then will be on the 7th, 10th, 12th 14th and 15th
of March. For those who went for the All India Entrance
Counselling, they can send authorised representatives.
They can take seats if the representatives bring the
Photostats of all the certificates. The originals
need be produced on the 21st of this month. (Courtesy

Counselling
to be completed before the 5th of March :
(01/03/03)
The
High Court has issued a notice directing the authorities
to finish the Kerala PG Entrance Counselling by the
fifth of March. This decision was taken after considerning
a complaint submitted by Dr. E. K. Asha from Kanjangad.
The Kerala counselling, if postponed, would clash
with the All India PG Entance Counselling which is
scheduled to start on the 5th. This has been a welcom
news to many with lower All India Ranks. For those
like KKM and Abhishek who have already started, this
