Update about Althaf and Jeevesh : (30/08/03)

Althaf made a brief visit to Trivandrum yesterday for some family affairs. He is going back to Manipal on Saturday. Ward work is heavy at Manipal and patient care is given prime importance there. He's getting used to the system there. Investigation results including radiography are sent to the ward through computers. Jeevesh will be coming home on the 7th of September for celebrating Onam.

Manoj Mony is waiting for the results of PLAB Part 1. The results are due next week. Byju is doing some GP at PRS hospital. He's also having plans to go abroad for studies.

Sheenu is doing her specialty posting in Stanley MC these days. Abhishek is having a nice time with the juniors at Burla ;). Sebind is preparing for the Entrance staying at a lodge at Kottayam. Professor (Abhilash P.) is enjoying his ward work in UK. In his opinion, the main difference between working here and in the UK is the amount of extra paperwork eg. Letters to the GP.

Last week I met a lot of PGs - Arun Raj C. N., Soumya C. V., Raghunath, Bigesh U., Deepthi S. All are firmly into the groove of the PG life. Vinod Varghese has taken a month off from GPing at the P. N. M. Hospital, Kattakkada. Maya Prasad is back to SAT after an episode of conjunctivitis. Krishna Priya is contemplating rejoining her DCH course at SAT. She is on leave now.

Update about Althaf, Sreejith : (07/08/03)

Althaf is already busy at Manipal with a few 12 hour duties under his belt. The workload during the first year is expected to be heavy for him. Meanwhile, Sreejith is still finding his feet in Mangalore. Nothing much is happening around him in the first week.

Update about Lekshmi M. and Jeevesh : (07/08/03)

Lekshmi M. is also very busy with her course. She's been already given Casualty duties in this brief period at St. John's, Bangalore. Jeevesh, meanwhile has joined Shri Venkateshwara Institute of Otolaryngology in Bangalore. He has found company in a lot of fellow PGs who are from Kerala. He's getting used the language. Jeevesh will go back to Bangalore on the 9th of this month after he visit to Trivandrum.

KKM has finished another succesful presentation at Department of Medicine. The work-load has decreased after the arrival of the fresh batch of House Surgeons.(Ajeetav's sister is in this batch. She's posted with KKM in M6.) Abhishek will come to Trivandrum on the first week of September.
