Mishap
at Kerala Counselling : (04/06/04)
I'm very sorry
to inform you that many candidates including our own
Sivaprasad and Renjith P. S. have missed out on their
deserved PG seats because they didn't turn up for
the counselling on the 29th of May, 2004. The confusion
arose because of the confusion in the notification
issued in the papers which stated the available seats
far less than the actual number. Renjith P. S. is
actually filing a case against the DME. Let's wish
him all the best.

Update
about Annilyn and Anup : (04/06/04)
The couple are
expecting their first baby in December. Annilyn is
working in a research position in the Department of
Pathology in the UCLA. Anup is working as a research
co-ordinatory in the UCLA. Congrats!

Chakku (Ranjith
S.) and Azhakesan (Aneesh A.) have joined D. Anaesthesia
and D. Ortho at Trivandrum Medical College today.
In a couple of days, Chakku would also be moving to
the Orhtopedics department. Aneesh A. has been transferred
from Kottayam to Trivandrum already. Congratulations
to both!

Update
about Anoop S. and Manoj Mony : (17/05/04)
Anoop Sudarsanan
is into the groove of a Pediatrics PG in the Bangalore
Medical College. Life is busy with a couple of 24
hour duties in a week and daily workload which stretches
to 5 pm. He has moved into an apartment along with
a couple of Mallu PGs who have taken PG courses like
him via All India counselling.
Abhilash
passes MRCP Part 2 (Theory) : (15/05/04)
Abhilash P. (a.
k. a. Professor) has passed the MRCP Part 2 exam with
ease on the first attempt. This has left him with
an enviable 'problem' of having to spend about 2 and
a half years from the present, without having to write
another exam! Congratulations professor! By the way,
he will be visiting us the coming month. Prof will
be touching down on the 11th of June and will be around
for a month or so. This will be a 'starter' in his
vacation plans this year in which he plans to visit
the cream of Europe later.

Raghunath M. and
Arun Raj C. N. (Veliyam) have moved to new single
rooms at the PG Hostel. Their room numbers are respectively
110 and 108. Both the rooms are in the ground floor.
Let me warn you guys: Veliyam's room is so sparklingly
neat that you might find yourself doubting your credentials
in cleaning your room.

I have sustained
a 'wrist sprain' while indulging in a little sport.
I'm in a cast for 3 weeks which will come off by the
end of this month. Send me get-well cards! Oh by the
way, if you are planning to personally meet me and
wish me, better come to the college ground in the
evenings. I'm still playing cricket with the other
arm! <winks>
