Mag Bio

The ‘kalathilakam’ of Genesis ’96, she has been blessed with in depth talent for singing and art. What strikes you most about her are her long lashes dancing up and down. She is admired for her sense of humour in everything. There is never a dull moment with Maya around.

Quotes

"I sort of fell into a rut after having joined this college, with no extra-curricular activities, and I really feel that the study of medicine desensitises you to many of the pleasures of life, but never for a moment do I regret the choice (not even at exam time). And I'm glad for the many true friends that this place has given me. My mother has been so far my most inspiring teacher. Dr. Mathew Thomas, Dr. Pavithran, Dr. Aruna and Dr. Samson are all personalities I admire. I hope to become a Pediatrician in the future – first scare kids sick and then treat them. On a more serious note I hope to work with developmentally backward kids. My lifelong ambition is to work with mobile health units like Lifeline Express and Medecins Sans Frontieres. We should never forget that as doctors we have the ability to touch so many lives, including ours."
